Interclub event for the Eddie Brodest Trophy

This event, first held in 2002, is staged in memory of Eddie Brodest who was a lifelong member of Rugby RCC and was club President when he died in 2001. He had served the club as a successful long distance rider and later as an official, best known as a regular time keeper in club events. The Interclub event, between Rugby RCC and Rugby Velo, is a 10-mile time trial held on the K10/10 or K10/10F courses. The result is based on the aggregate times of the first six riders in each club. The event is run on the lines of an ordinary club event, so 2nd Claim members and guest riders can take part even though their times cannot be counted in the Interclub competition.
