Results of Inter-club event held 29th June 2007
This is the sixth year the two clubs have contested the Eddie Brodest Trophy and at last a win for Rugby RCC, bringing the score so far to 4-2 in favour of the Velo. Although rain threatened, it proved to be a dry evening and despite a strong wind there were PBs for Dave Kimberley, Keith Hirons, Pete Timmins and Nigel Strange. To be fair to Rugby Velo they were lacking a few riders who would normally have figured in their top six, whereas Rugby RCC had possibly their strongest team available, with riders like Peter Wright and Phil Scott not making the top six. Emily Ducker punctured a mile after the start.
