Results for 5th August 2009 - Course: K10/10 Princethorpe

Following a spell of miserable weather the evening produced warm, sunny conditions, bringing out 57 riders on one of our most popular courses. Top club rider was Hywel Davies by over a minute from Colin Stiles, while Tim Hastie edges ever closer but still had to be content with third place. It was the private entries that brought out the quickest times, with Matt Clinton and Richard Bradley, two of the fastest riders in the midlands, setting 20-21 and 20-27. Most riders who had ridden the same course in last Saturday's open recorded faster times, hardly surprising considering the contrast in conditions. The large field enabled Craig Middleton and Colin Stiles to first ride solo, then ride tandem at the end of the field, recording a better time than either had set individually.
