Results for 22nd July 2009 - Course: K10/25B Princethorpe - A45

It must be something of a record when 8 out of 40 riders beat the hour in a club 25, with 13 PBs being recorded by club members. This new course again proved fast, despite blustery conditions and the road being wet around the Ryton island. Hywel Davies was the fastest club rider, although guest rider Matt Clinton recorded the fastest time of the event. This time it was Russell Morris who broke the hour for the first time, with PBs also recorded by Tim Hastie, Phil Scott, David Newton, Peter Timmins, Sean Conway, Paul Laurie, Eliot Blundell, Ray Dyke, John Bryant, Dave Pettifor, Mark Roberts and Lucy Cash (these based on times achieved in club events). There was only one DNF, Stuart Sykes, who retired early in the event feeling unwell
