Results for 8th July 2009 - Course: K10/25A Frankton

A stiff, cool, north-easterly breeze took the edge of riders' times, but the final order went to form, with Hywel Davies a clear winner in the club table from Colin Stiles and Tim Hastie, but even Hywel was more than 2 minutes down on guest rider Matt Clinton from Kenilworth who clocked 54-28. This was the old 2-lap course, less popular with riders these days, having to twice climb the hill out of Princethorpe, but it does enable riders to get split times (courtesy of Kenny Robinson on this occasion), or retire after one lap. Tim Hastie broke the hour for the first time in a club event, while Sean Conway, with his new bike and massive fitness improvement, blitzed the handicap, Despite the unfavourable conditions there were PBs for 9 riders, not including those who had not previously ridden in a 25..
