Results for 15th April 2009 - Course: K11/10B Braunston

Another excellent ride by James Heaton and definitely the fastest time set on this course which was new last year. Despite the extra boost from the start set at altitude, times are not especially quick on this course. It was another full entry, using our full 55 rider limit. Colin Stiles and Dave Overton recorded identical times as solo riders, then paired up to ride their tandem at the end of the field to record a "long 20". One advantage of the large entry has allowed them to take an early number and still have almost half an hour recovery before starting on their tandem. Kenny Robinson is still running away with the handicap, but 2009 times will steadily replace last year's in the handicap system, allowing the results to be much more even.
