Results for 30th April 2008 - Course: K11/10 Lawford

Another win for James Heaton - even though he punctured a mile and a half from the finish! He ploughed on regardless and was still more than a minute and half ahead of his nearest rival at the finish. It was a return to the cold and wet conditions and the combination of the undulating Lawford course and the weather resulted in some slow times. Even Hywel Davies, riding his road bike, took more than 25 minutes - probably his slowest ever time for a 10. Another puncture casualty was Dave Kimberley, but his problem occurred too far out to make it worthwhile continuing. Welcome to new members Russell and Wendy Morris and to Amrit Singh who have joined us after riding the early season events as private entries.
