Results for 15th August 2007 - Course: K11/10 Long Lawford

An interesting event, with the 6th and final round of the Women's Midlands TT Series being held in conjunction with our own event. Just to add to this, two of our members were eligible for both events.....! Rain earlier in the day held off for us, although the whole event was at risk when an RTA occurred on the road down to Bretford at about 6.30. Fortunately the road was partially cleared sufficiently for our side of the road to be unaffected. We were grateful to Gary Humphries, Mike Bloom and Ken Rushall who checked out the course and made sure none of our guest riders went off course. Our club event was won by Hywel Davies, while in the Women's Series Marina Bloom was fastest (we'll claim her for Rugby RCC on this occasion) and Emily Ducker was third.
