Results for 1st August 2007 - Course: K3/13.6 Napton
Something was missing as riders lined up to start at Napton - it was Hywel Davies - an absentee for the first time this season. This meant a different winner for the first time in 2007 and it was Colin Stiles who just edged out Dave Overton by 14 seconds. This hilly event lives up to its name, especially the 700 yard 1 in 7 out of Priors Marston which can cause a few problems with riders of ......er..... a certain power-to-weight ratio. Two riders who never made it to the hill were Pete Timmins who punctured and Adrian Wyatt who missed the turn and ended up half way to Banbury. At least the weather was kind, this being the first shirtsleeve event this season.
