Hywel Davies maintained his 100% record with his 15th win in a row, but it was another damp evening with a few riders opting not to ride when the rain came down just before the start. Tony Johnson again put his new bike to good effect with a sub-25 min time and ran way with the handicap - the system can't allow for such a sudden upturn in form. This week's unlucky rider was Tim Randell who shed his chain - causing a "chain reaction" which ended with him hitting the deck - fortunately not seriously injured.
