Results for 19th July 2006
Record temperatures made it tough going for our 17 competitors, with only Gary Humphries producing a PB. Hywel Davies again described his ride as "cruising", but it still gave him first place. Congratulations to our three riders, Tony Johnson, Craig Middleton and Martin Orrill, who completed the L'Etape du Tour although it took them slightly longer than they had expected - but if you have a hotel booked at the top of Alpe D'Huez there's an extra incentive to get to the top!
