Results for 14th June 2006 - Course: K10/10 Princethorpe
The popular Princethorpe course and some excellent conditions brought in a bumper entry of 38 riders, boosted by 9 private entries. With Hywel Davies failing to arrive due to car problems Colin Stiles was able to secure victory with the best time of the evening. The handicap system was blown apart by several riders making massive improvements over previous times, with 24 riders beating their theoretical 20 minute net target. Peter Wright forgot which course he was on and decided to give everyone a chance by taking in the Peugeot loop, while Stratford's Karen Roberts was unfamiliar with the course and took the road to Leamington by mistake. Congratulations to Gary Humphries who broke the 30 minute barrier with over half a minute to spare.
