Results for 21st September 2025 - Course: K10/25B A45 x 2
A popular win for Grzegorz Kulej who went under the hour with his 58:41. Private entry Michael Costello's time was shown as exactly one hour, since times are rounded to the nearest second, but closer examination of the printout showed that he had recorded 59 mins 59.74 secs (thanks to our printer stopwatch!) so he was duly presented with his medal. This was the last points scoring event of the season, with Peter Wright taking the handicap, so the points tables for the various categories are the final tables (subject to any challenges). Conditions were distinctly chilly although dry, down to 8 deg C, not ideal for riders or timekeepers. This was our third Rugby Flyer event, and entries were down signifcantly from previous years, but we had a good turnout for marshals who almost outnumbered riders. Biggest victory for the organisers was that the newly installed traffic lights on the M45 island were still covered, allowing us to use our favoured course.
