A prearranged event where riders from Leamington C&AC and Coventry CC joined us, boosted the numbers to 34 riders. In fact it was Ryan Witchall, a rider from Royal Leamington Spa CC, who recorded the fastest time of 51-08, with 6 riders recording sub-one hour times. Fastest 1st Claim member was the rapidly improving Doug Caulfield with a 57.05 while Stephen Docker took the handicap. Only one DNF, Tony Johnson, who retired with a pulled hamstring, an injury from running, not cycling.
