Results for 1st May 2024 - Course: K41/10R Coalpit Lane/Wolvey
It's almost unknown for a new member to join the club and win his first event, but that's what Tom Greeves achieved at our 10-mile TT on the K41/10R. After some rather wet and cold weather thus far, conditions were perfect for this event, apart from the rough road surface on this course (a long-standing complaint). With Jon Cottingham on marshalling duties and Ollie Billing making his first ride of the season, the top few places look a little different, while Tony Johnson took the handicap. The handicap results indicate that riders who rode the tough, early season Lawford events would have inherited a more generous handicap as a result.
