Results for Rugby Flyer Event 15th September 2024 - Course: K10/25B
Our second event to celebrate the record of Ralph Dougherty was deemed a success, boosted by our decision to push the boat out and hire Bourton Village Hall as an HQ. Held as a strictly road bike event, last year we had 3 riders go under the hour, this year we had six, with Rugby Velo rider Sam Harding setting a new standard for this event. Even the weather was kind to us, and the attendance of a Cycling Weekly photographer should lead to some coverage in the magazine, to say nothing of the efforts of David Hastings who photographs most of our club events.
