Results for 5th September 2021 - Course: K10/25C Princethorpe-Cubbington

It was a disappointing entry of just 8 riders for this event, the lowest in any club event for at least 10 years. This was probably due to a late holiday season and an unusual clash with other events which involved cycling in some way. It proved to be a win for Brendan Hirst from Guy Sanders, with new member Simon Barnwell in 3rd place in only his 4th ride. Eddy Peachey took the handicap and it was a welcome return for Howard Beale who has made a rapid recovery from hip surgery only 10 weeks ago. Christine Broughan was the only female competitor, while It proved to be an opportunity for several riders to up their points tally in topping up their best 14 rides, with all 8 competitors being vets. Just for the record, the weather was excellent, with only a slight breeze and lots of sunshine.
