Results for 7th April 2021 - Course: K11/10 at Lawford

Fastest rider was our new 2nd claim member Gareth Harvey while Ollie Billing was again the best of the 1st claim members. It was Arctic conditions for the 42 brave competitors, with a temperature of just 5 deg C, in contrast to last weeks 20 ! Time trialling doesn't get much tougher than this 'sporting' course, with almost everyone's times being 10% - 20% longer than they might expect for a flat 10 mile course. Handicaps can be deceptive early season with new members, with no previous form, yet to establish a handicap. Some riders are not calling their number as they pass the finish, adding to the difficulty of the Covid-inspired squad number system.

Note that the next event uses a meeting point at Dunchurch VH overflow car park, but remember our arrangement does not allow access to the building.
