Results for 29th August 2018 - Course: K11/5 Willoughby
Our last evening time trial of the season resulted in a win for guest rider Dave Kiernan, followed by 2nd Claim member Ryan Kenworthy, with Richard Wayman the best 1st Claim member.A strong cross-wind meant Dave Kiernan was never going to beat the record of 10-16 set on this course in 2014, missing out by just 8 deconds. The handicap was won by Emily Ledson, returning to cycling after a long absence for medical reasons. Although only 24 riders took part we have averaged almost 31 riders per event for the season's 22 evening time trials. With two Sunday morning events remaining there are still some useful points to be gained and even those with more than 14 rides could improve on their score by dropping their worst events.
