Results for event 1817

An RTA in Braunston enforced a modified course, with our event starting and finishing to the west of the viillage. Most people clocked it as a few yards over 8 miles and many riders said they actually liked this version! At least it enabled us to hold an event which would otherwise have been cancelled. Handicaps have been factored accordingly. A field of 39 riders, including 7 private entries, finished safely, although one motorist stopped to complain he had been held up by riders overtaking. However, he failed to notice their numbers. The event provided another win for Ryan Kenworthy, just ahead of Dave Elliott. The points tables will be affected as riders drop their worst scores as the 14 event rule kicks in.
