Results for 2nd May 2018 - Course: K11/10B Braunston

After rain through most of the day it was a clear evening and even the weather forecast was accurate, predicting a strong NW wind. The effect of this was to help riders on their return leg, an unusual occurence on the Braunston course, resulting in some fast times and a few PBs. Dave Elliott topped the club riders' table on his road bike, but it was two guest riders, Ian Ryves and Mark Avil who set the fastest times, the former with a sub-20 minute performance. The better conditions produced some excellent handicap times with almost every rider beating the 20-min target. The exceptions were two riders who had not ridden the slower courses in the first 5 events, thus starting with last season's times as a basis.
