Results for 8th July 2015 - Course: K11/10B Braunston

There was a sombre atmosphere for this event, following the recent loss of Mike Bloom and the number 1 start slot was left blank in his memory. After last week's sweltering conditions the weather was back to normal, with a cool, strong breeze on the outward leg adding at least a minute to most riders' final times. It proved to be a win for Simon Bayliss who may have just had the incentive of chasing his 13 year old son, making his TT debut, starting 10 minutes earlier. Jack succeeded in keeping his dad behind by just 12 seconds! Kate Vanloo managed to finish ahead of her rival Anne Portsmouth for the first time, while Patrick Weir's bad luck continues, with his back tyre destroying itself even before he could start. Good to see three of our second claim members doing their bit for the club, helping with marshalling and pushing off.
