Results for 29th April 2015 - Course: K11/10B Braunston

It was our first event of the season on the Braunston course and it proved another chilly evening with rain threatening. It proved to be a decisive win for Matt Clinton who recorded a sub-20 minute time, having recovered from an attack of shingles and is still not up to full fitness! Simon Bayliss was the pick of the 1st claim riders with a PB, but the chasing pack will push him throughout the season. Unluckiest rider was Roy Broomhead who was last away, but the rider ahead of him genuinely thought he was the last man, consequently the timekeepers had left the finish. This is always a possibility when large gaps appear in the running order after riders have booked late numbers, then cancel or do not appear. We can only apologise to Roy, it doesn't happen very often.
