Results for 21st September 2014 - Course: KH35 Newnham Hill Climb

Perfect conditions for our hill climb although the entry of 22 was down on last year's 30, a recent record. It again proved a win for 17-year old Ryan Kenworthy although he was a couple of seconds off the club record time he set last year. As always the usual time-trialling skills have liitle bearing on hillclimbing abilities where power to weight ratio is all important and big guys like Jonathan Jordon and Richard Boyd deserve an award just for entering.

For the record the hill is 900m long (0.558 miles), elevation 59.7m (195.9 ft), average gradient 6.6% (1 in 15), max gradient 15% (1 in 6.7) - Source: Peter Wright's Garmin.
