Results for 14th September 2014 - Course: K11/50C Cawston

This was our annual club 50 and it proved to be a win for Simon Mitchell, well inside last year's inaugral time of 2-4-13 set by David Newton. Although the weather was better than last year there were two fewer riders and surprisingly 6 less than in last week's 4-Hour! Pete Timmins retired with a tyre problem, while Adrian Childs and Dean Mason were classed as DNFs, even though they crossed the finish line, having not ridden the official version of the course. Many riders said they enjoyed the course, since once having learned the correct route most found it interesting. With no handicaps in next week's hillclimb it appears Jason Baggett has won the season's handicap competition and Eliot Blundell has consolidated his lead in the scratch version.
