Results for 18th June 2014 - Course: K11/10B Braunston

Just how fast can Matt Clinton go? Another record falls on the moderately fast Braunston course and another week of 'perfect' conditions.In all 20 riders topped the 25 mph mark and 37 riders beat their 20 minute target handicap time. The tandem pairing of Mike Bloom and Kate Vanloo resulted in a time 2-3 minutes better than either of them might have achieved individually. The handicap was again won by the rapidly improving Trevor Wright who has been applying some science to his bike preparation and this has been paying dividends. Fortunately this week there were no accidents or DNFs. If anyone has picked up a black Meteor helmet it belongs to Rob Stilgoe.
