Results for 9th April 2014 - Course: K10/10 Princethorpe

Another large entry, with only one no-show, so the message is getting home. It was a clear win for Matt Clinton who actually caught his minute man Simon Mitchell who finished second overall. Conditions were favourable, with eight riders inside 23 minutes and many PBs being established. Alan James and Trevor Wright were non-finishers, both being involved in 'incidents' which are under investigation. With three top-three places so far Simon Mitchell tops the points table, but it's quite competitive up there and anyone's guess who will lead at the end of September. Despite our best efforts some competitors still ride without a rear light and this is something we are going to have to review with the large fields taking part. Also some car parking needs greater consideration, prompting a visit from the police who have threatened action if there is a repeat.
