Results for 2nd April 2014 - Course: K11/7B Willoughby-Braunston

Conditions were certainly better than a year ago, although a strong tail-wind gathered later in the evening, benefiting the late starters. There were 48 riders taking the 50 places available and with Simon Mitchell topping the results list it's clear that there's no shortage of competition for the top places. Unfortunately the overcast conditions resulted in darkness falling early and the need for rear lights at the very least. Despite the club having clip-on lights available for riders to borrow not all took advantage. The club has stopped short of a compulsory rear light rule, but the only alternative is to reduce the size of the field. After two events Simon Mitchell is a clear leader in the points competition, hopefully we will have a full points table available after next week's event.
