Results for 10th July 2013 - Course: K11/10B Braunston

It was a close run thing with David Newton seeing off challenges from Tim Hastie, Neil Coventry and Matt Jones. After a spell of hot weather conditions changed within an hour of the start, becoming cloudy with a strong cross-wind on this A45 out-and-back course. The handicap was blitzed by Tony Johnson, returning to form after some slow rides had gained him a generous handicap. There was also Mike Bloom's double act again, riding at no.s 10 and 50 - because he prefers longer distance events! Added interest was provided by new members Marc Coulson and Steve Rourke with their first rides, while guest Josh Jones (Cambridge Uni CC) set the fastest time of the evening and promptly joined as a second claim member. Could be an interesting few weeks to come......
