Results for 3rd July 2013 - Course: K10/25P Princethorpe - Marton

It was an outstanding win for Matt Clinton on this version of the 2-lap course (he caught 12 riders who were ahead of him on the road). Although this course is frequently used for opens there were suspicions that it is 'long', probably due to the new island being added on the A423. Conditions were good, with a light breeze helping riders along the straight mile, and 8 riders went under the hour.

Unfortunately, not for the first time in recent weeks, there were reports of riders 'drafting', thus contravening CTT rules. This involved some newer riders who were probably not aware that this was illegal. However, riders are only deceiving themselves by setting times which are artificial and unlikely to be improved in the future. More to the point, if this persists we will have to disqualify riders from the results.
