Results for 5th September 2012 - Course: K11/5B Willoughby-Dunchurch

Perfect conditions, with sunshine and almost no wind, just like the first event of the season again - pity about the weather in between! Dave Kiernan wins and sets a new club 5-mile record by 3 seconds and the first three riders go below 11 minutes. An excellent turnout for our final evening tiome trial of the season. Only one DNF - Patrick Weir retired with a broken spoke which could be heard from some distance as he gently returned to the start. With two events still to go Tim Hastie can't be caught in the scratch points competition, while Gary Howes has won the the handicap as there won't be any handicaps in the 4-hour and hillclimb..
