Results for 11th April 2012 - Course: K10/10 Princethorpe

Another win and a PB for Tim Hastie although Dave Kiernan ran him close, with Craig McKee still to hit top form. Another good ride by Matt Jones who again took the handicap, although this will become more difficult as his new times feed into the system - unless he continues to improve! Conditions were variable, with a blustery wind, but at least the rain held off. Clearly many riders are still at that early season stage as less than a third of the entry beat the 20 minute handicap target on what is an acknowledged fast course. Barry Burrows had a lapse of concentration as he took in an extra loop around the old Peugeot site. As expected the new Vet standards put a lot more riders into the negative zone - but that was always the intention of the VTTA who claimed the previous standards were too easy!
