Report for 4th April 2012 - Course: K10/7F Blue Boar

In total contrast to the perfect weather conditions last week our event was cancelled as conditions were deemed to be unsafe. After a day of rain there was a lot of standing water on the A45 with poor visibility. At the start of the day our on-line booking system showed a full field of 50, but by 5 pm this had reduced to 33. Of the 20 odd riders that turned up the majority decided it was too risky. With spray from heavy lorries, a strong crosswind and two U-turns around the islands it was hard to disagree.
