Results for 24th August 2011 - Course: K11/10 Long Lawford

A win for Richard Bray on a rather damp Lawford course. A cloudburst at around 6 pm caused a few cancellations and the times were disappointing, even for the Lawford course, an indication being that no one went below 21 minutes on handicap. In second place Phil Scott recorded his highest ever finish, while the importance of a specialist TT bike was indicated by Hywel Davies, on his road bike, down in 8th place. Richard Bray also won on handicap, the first time this has occurred in 10 years, probably as we have only a handful of times for Richard in our system. With riders now dropping their worst scores as they clock up more than 18 rides the points tables are looking closer than ever.
