Results for 10th August 2011 - Course: K11/10B - Braunston

A first Rugby RCC win for Richard Bray by just 2 seconds from Peter Wright. A strong cross-wind caused problems, with most riders slowed on both legs, yet Phil Scott managed a PB! Rob Tobin appears to have regained some of his old fitness, carving almost 3 minutes of his times earlier this season and ran away with the handicap. There were two punctures, Dave Overton continuing but recording a time which he would prefer to forget, while new member Richard Boyd, in his second event, limped home as we were about to send out the search party, but felt a DNF was a better result than the one we had on the watch. It's the time in the season where the best 18 rides count, but despite dropping one of his 'lesser' scores Peter Wright retains the lead in the points table.
