Results for 3rd August 2011 - Course: K10/10 Princethorpe

With some of the leading riders away on holiday there was still strong competition from Peter Wright, Matt Plant and Phil Scott, but in his first ride since May 11th, James Heaton showed he was back on form to win by 40 seconds. Conditions were warm, with a sight breeze, but times were not especially quick. Jonathan Jordan took a large chunk off his PB to head the handicap, followed by good rides from Chris Lodge and Simon Mitchell. Unluckiest was Dave Fawcett who failed to start due to a tyre problem. Competition promises to continue with 5 events remaining, with new leaders in both points competitions and no certainty as to the eventual winners.
