A win for Matthew Plant by 12 seconds from Richard Bray, with 6 riders sub-23 in total. There have been 5 different winners so far this season with probably any one of another 5 likely to claim a win in the remaining 8 events. Craig McKee had a front tyre burst before the start, but he managed to borrow Phil Byrne's wheel as he finished and starting at 48 still managed third place. Once again this Braunston course did not produce fast times, despite reasonable conditions, with only 10 riders inside the target 20 minute net time on handicap and 28 riders above the target. Richard Bray took the handicap, having improved since he joined a couple of months ago after a long time out with injury.
