Results for 1st September 2010 - Course: K11/7.25 Grandborough Fields
A first win for David Newton, with Matt Plant and Adrian Tayles dead-heating for second place. With points leaders Russell Morris, Peter Wright and Tim Hastie not riding the top positions allowed others to gain some big points. In the space of a week we've had the worst and best of weather conditions, going from a very wet Lawford to the season's best with sunshine, 20 C and almost no wind. However, riders had to contend with a large number of tractors and trailers around the lanes, also making the best of the weather, and virtually every rider had a tractor (or horse) incident at some stage. The handicap was won by our newest members, Alan James and Mark Carver, and with one event remaining Matt Plant cannot be caught in the handicap points table.
