Results for 25th August 2010 - Course: K11/10 - Lawford

It was a very wet Lawford (sound familiar?) and our smallest field of the season, so this was a test of perseverance for those that took part. Fortunately the wind was not a factor, but continuous rainfall caused standing water in some parts of the course, impairing progress. All times were down on expectations (check out the handicap results - all 20-minutes plus). One minute covered the top five riders, with Peter Wright edging out the still improving Eliot Blundell who also took the handicap. A relatively slow ride for Marina Bloom, still recovering from her brilliant 12-hour performance at the weekend where she covered 242.172 miles (that's 20.18 mph - now there's a challenge for next season guys!) .
