Results for 21st April 2010 - Course: K10/10 Princethorpe

On the same Princethorpe course as last week it was another clear win for James Heaton, although 10 seconds slower despite much better conditions. Russell Morris was again second, but Peter Wright just edged out Tim Hastie for third. Out of a field of 50 riders there were seven private entries, with Marc Lee recording the second fastest time of the evening. Mike MacLeod was the only DNF, incurring terminal machine problems soon after the start. Paul Peasegood cracked the 30-minute barrier and headed the handicap results. He admitted to feeling tired at the end - to be told by everyone "that's the idea, you're supposed to feel like that". Matt Plant continues to improve in his second season and now threatens some of the "big" names. Russell Morris still leads the points table, but James Heaton is progressing rapidly after missing the first two events.
