Results for 7th April 2010 - Course: K11/7.25 Grandborough Fields

A first win for Tim Hastie by 7 seconds from last week's winner Russell Morris. A cold NW wind slowed riders on the back straight, but times were generally good for this course, with Matt Plant using his new TT bike to good effect. There were good rides from new members John Gabriel (2nd Claim from Hinckley CRC) and Tom Willcock in his first ever time trial. Fastest ride came from David Lane (Blue Sky Cycles) with a 16-30, but there were punctures for Amrit Singh and Paul Peasegood, who rode the last mile nevertheless. As ever early in the season handicap results are unpredictable and this time it was the young riders Andy Ure, George Goodwin and Joe Dominy who showed most improvement since last season.
